If you enjoy having a a beverage from time to time, keep your cash at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your handbag, your billfold, and keep all cash, charge cards and cheques out of the casino. Take whatever money you anticipate to use on drinks, tips and only the pocket change you anticipate to squander and keep the rest behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Just realistic. You could experience a profit following a drunken evening out with your comrades and be lucky sufficiently to hook a long toss at a smokin craps table. Keep that adventure considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly drink alcohol and gamble. The two just do not mix.
Keeping your cash at home is a little drastic, but preventative actions for drastic behavior is essential. If you wager to succeed, then do not consume alcohol and bet. If you like to blow your assets without a concern, then drink all the gratuitous alcohol you are able to handle, but don’t pack charge cards and cheques to toss into the mix of following squanderings after your drunken self throws away every little thing!
Permit me to take this a single step more. Don’t consume alcohol and then jump on the internet to bet in your favorite casino either. I enjoy a cocktail from the coziness of my apartment, but because I’m connected through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can not drink and bet.
What’s the reason? Although I do not drink alcohol a lot, once I drink, it’s certainly sufficient to cloud my judgment. I wager, so I don’t drink when betting. If you are more of a drinker, do not wager when you do. Both create a ferocious, and expensive, cocktail.
