If you enjoy a beverage occasionally, keep your cash out of the casino if you set out to do your consuming in a casino. I’m serious. Empty your handbag, your billfold, and leave all cash, charge cards and cheques out of the casino. Pack only the cash you intend to use on alcohol, tipping and only the pocket change you intend to squander and leave the remainder behind.
Contemptuous? Not at all. Just realistic. You may well have a win following a boozy night out with your friends and be blessed sufficiently to catch a 25 minute roll at a smokin craps game. Hang on to that story considering that it’s as brief as it gets if you regularly drink and wager. These activities simply don’t go well together.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel might be a bit excessive, but precautionary actions for excessive behavior is compulsory. If you gamble to succeed, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you like to toss away your money without a worry, then drink all the no charge alcohol you are able to handle, but don’t take charge cards and checkbooks to throw into the mix of going after squanderings after your befuddled head throws away everything!
Allow me to take this a single step more. Don’t drink alcohol and then hop on to the internet to play in your favorite internet casino either. I love to drink from the coziness of my house, but because I am hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and have credit cards in close proximity, I can’t drink alcohol and gamble.
Why? Despite the fact that I don’t drink to excess, once I drink alcohol, it is definitely sufficient to blur my better judgment. I wager, so I do not drink when gambling. If you are more of a drinker, do not gamble when you do. Both make for a dangerous, and expensive, drink.
